About Cooke/Turner/Tooley Families
Please sign in to see more. The Cooke's (my father), the Turners (my mother) and the Tooley's (my wife's father) all came to America well before the Revolutionary War.
All were in the Northeast, NY, CT and MA.
All took part in founding town and cities that are still there to this day. The common thread in all three families is that grand children and great grand children were also adventurous and moved away from the northeast to help establish new states such as Illinois, Iowa, Utah, Washington and California.
And somehow my wife and I met in St. Louis.
